2.
If damper is in sound condition slide into ductwork ensuring intumescent strips are positioned within the wall.

3.
Using the pre-punched holes contained within the modules casing as a guide, drill 1/8" fixing holes into duct. Fix damper using 1/8" steel rivets and seal any gaps between module and duct casing with intumescent mastic.

4. Using high temperature ceramic fibre wrap strip, pack the void around ductwork as per diagram.

5. Leave a minimum 20mm recess in front of this packaging which you solidly fill with intumescent mastic. Ensure a small bead of mastic is applied to the wall surface where the covering angles meet with the masonry wall.

6. Attach 25mm x 30mm x 0.7mm galvanised steel surround angles to duct using 1/8" steel rivets, covering the intumescent mastic filling.
