The Bullock insulated access doors are designed specifically for HVAC plant room conditioner housings. Available in 5 stock sizes these doors provide ample open area access for personal or maintenance related equipment.
Such routine maintenance would include repair to or replacement of: fire, volume, non-return, motorised smoke/fire dampers, conditioner coils and filters, actuators or pumps to Australian Standard procedures.

Door: 2 Piece 1.2mm zinc anneal sheet, press formed and welded to make airtight.
Frame: 1 piece 2.5mm galvanised steel angle section, with continuously welded corners for strength.
Handles: Die cast zinc un-plated or chrome plated.
Hinges: Chrome plated brass, die and press formed complete with nylon over stainless steel bushing to prevent seizing.
Door Seal: 1 piece heat welded extruded PVC compression gasket mechanically fixed within the door panel.
Insulation: 25mm fibreglass insulation is seated within the door cavity to prevent cold bridging. Special materials available: Stainless steel or Galvanised steel on request (Door panel and frame only).

Internal frame opening size.
Door Swing Direction ie: OPEN IN or OPEN OUT.

Note: When ordering OPEN IN doors add an "R" to the IBM ordering code.

Detailed below is a project specification covering the design and manufacture of Bullock Access Doors.

Access Doors
Access Doors manufactured by Bullock, or equivalent shall be installed where specified and as shown on the drawings.
The door shall be formed from first quality 1.2mm Zinc-anneal sheet, machine punched and press formed. The 2 piece door is to be internally insulated with a minimum 25mm fibreglass insulation and completely sealed using a heat welded PVC compression gasket to prevent cold bridging.
The door frame shall be made from 2.5mm galvanised steel press formed angle of welded corner construction for strength. The door shall be fitted with chrome plated hinges and handles which help to secure an airtight seal for designed conditions.
Warning: to prevent injury always install doors to open against pressure.
